BMC Helix Control-M Starter Service


This Service provides an overview and assists the Customer with the fundamentals of BMC Helix Control-M solution. It also includes knowledge transfer of BMC’s recommended Helix Control-M best practices.

What you get:

BMC will perform the following:

  • Provide an overview of BMC Helix Control-M 
  • Assist the Customer with the following topics:
    • Introduction and fundamentals
    • Agents and plugins installation
    • Planning domain
    • Monitoring domain
    • Configuration domain
    • Automation application programming interface (API)
  • Configure up to 10 jobs with no more than two different job types
  • Provide knowledge transfer of BMC’s recommended Helix Control-M best practices

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

  • There are no Deliverables in scope for this engagement.

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.


  • Preparatory call between the Customer and BMC to mutually agree on a project schedule across two consecutive business days
